COMPLEXITIEZ 2026
Beyond the chair: protecting your patients, your brand, your practice and your money
For the past two years, Complexitiez has focused on clinical complications. In 2026, we draw our attention to non-clinical complications as sources of headaches, business inefficiencies and long-term risks for us clinicians.
Human factors, team management, legal exposure, AI pitfalls and way more are covered in this year's program. The objective? Peace of mind through understanding and acting on non-clinical risks to avoid non-clinical complications!

Speakers
Dr. Jay Neugarten
Oral and maxillofacial surgeon based in New York with a long teaching and clinical record in advanced implantology. At Complexitiez 2026, he focuses on the operational and communication missteps that quietly turn straightforward cases into hard ones.
Dr. Costa Nikolopoulos
Implant-focused clinician and a member of the international ZAGA network. His session examines the workflow, decision-making, and team dynamics behind predictable outcomes in complex cases.
Dr. Carlos Aparicio
Pioneer of the zygomatic implant approach and founder of the global ZAGA Centers network. Beyond technique, he speaks to the leadership, mentorship, and standards-setting that define a modern complex-case practice.
Prof. Chantal Malevez
Belgian maxillofacial surgeon and professor — one of the early academic voices in zygomatic implant rehabilitation. She brings a long view on the institutional, ethical, and generational pressures that shape clinical decisions.
Dr. Franck Renouard
Internationally recognized oral surgeon and co-author of foundational work on human factors in implant dentistry. His session brings the science of error, attention, and team performance into the dental operatory — the through-line of Complexitiez 2026.
Dr. Rubin Pillay
Healthcare-innovation strategist and academic with a focus on AI and the business of medicine. He maps where artificial intelligence helps dentists — and where it quietly creates new categories of risk.
Kelly Tanner
Dental hygienist, practice consultant, and recognized voice on team development and leadership in private practice. She tackles the silent complications: turnover, communication breakdowns, and the real cost of a weak culture.
Alan J. Fumosa
Brings business and operational expertise to dental practice owners, focused on the financial, contractual, and practice-structure exposures clinicians rarely train for.
Dr. Matias Molinas
CTO of Histora, working at the intersection of dental practice and technology. He addresses the practical pitfalls of AI, data, and digital workflows — where they quietly introduce risk into the practice rather than reducing it.
